This afternoon is draaaaggging by. Is it 5:00 yet? I just thought I'd post and give you all a few updates and scoops.
This morning, Reyna was in her closet checking out her shoes, (something she likes to do quite often) deciding which ones she wanted to wear. She will pick out a pair, bring them to you, say "on" and sit down and wait for you to put them on her. Silly girl. Anyway, she was standing in her closet when I hear the words, "I love you" out of her mouth. It was plain as day. Grandma Peggy has been doing the sign's for I love you and saying the words to her. She must have caught on, but she wasn't looking at anyone. Well, she was staring at her shoes when she said it. I still decided she was telling her mommy and it made me melt.
The house? Well, we are still in the process of finishing our backroom. Okay, let me say that again. We haven't started the backroom because we haven't had the time, so it sits and stares at us waiting to get finished. We were supposed to start the drywall process this weekend, but Jade picked up a concrete job. I am not complaining, he couldn't pass it up. Hopefully, we will list our house before October.
I have a billion things that I want to do around the house. Everything from packing away Reyna's winter clothes from last year to replacing light bulbs in my ceiling fan. I need to make a list. Later on, I am going to post a picture of this shelve that I need help with. I don't know what to put on it and I would love some of you to give me your creative ideas.
Last week, I bought a couple of Burt's Bee's products. Do you use anything from Burt's Bee's? If so, what are your fave products? I bought the Baby Bee All Better Balm. I saw the name and just knew it was a must have whether it worked or not. :) I also bought the Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. I snagged this one for a $1 regularly $6. There was a store in Ludington going out of business and they carried Burt's Bee's.
Still thinking about fall/winter shopping. My mom bought Reyna a pair of winter pj's and a pant/shirt outfit. Both of which are absolutely adorable. I bought her another pair of pjs's last weekend and I have been scoping out this cute vest , this adorable sweater, and these fun tights. I love The Children's Place. They have the best deals and everything matches.
My Aunt Janette is coming over tonight and spending the night. Jade is cooking salmon for dinner and our plans are to veg the rest of the time.
Next week, we are having our family pictures and Reyna's 18 months pic's taken by the ever so talented Nicole. I just need to figure out what we are going to wear. Cross your fingers Reyna cooperates. Last time she had her pic's taken, we had to bribe her to sit still.
I think that's all for now.....

Oh know I think that you may have a little Fashionista on your hands. TOO FUNNY and CUTE!
Busy, Busy I know how that is. Good luck with your projects.
I use Burt's Bees on Grant. My favorite is the Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion and the Baby Bee Shampoo/Wash. It smells very herbal and I love it! Sometimes I steal the lotion for myself. :)
I'm still laughing at the "I love you"....that's hilarious!! Up-north is great isn't it, now back to the "real world"...waaaah :(
I hope the photos go well. I am looking to get PB's done too. I love the burt's baby bees shampoo and bubble bath, oh and the baby lotion too. I hear the balm is fantastic. it is the one thing I haven't tried yet.
A girl loves her shoes.
Annika is my shoe girl. Bianca likes them too, but only if they aren't hers! She refuses to keep her own shoes on!
Good luck with the house, I remember selling ours, it was such a PIA. Never again!
