What are you swooning over?

I am drooling over this baby. Do you have one? If so, do you love it??? I would love to know.

KCups are a must have in this house.

I must say, these would keep my tootsies might toasty this winter!!

Salad? Oh, yeah. Jade laughs because I could eat salad all.the.time. In my opinion, a salad makes a meal. And while I type this, I am eating....you guessed it, a salad! ha. A good vinaigrette? Yes, please.

You can kiss away dry lips with this little tube of goodness. I swear by this stuff and it's always on my stocking stuffer list.

Love me some Sex & the City!

There you have it. My list of swoon. What are you swooning over this Christmas season?

Thursday.

Another long night, but today is my Friday. I have tomorrow off and we have a coffee/playdate. Pictures tonight, I promise!

Today I am thankful for:

*Ruby. Even if she had me up ((several times)) last night, she is healthy and I am so thankful for that. When she woke up last night, I thought about the mama's who have lose babies due to whatever reason and counted my blessings my little chunky monkey is around to wake me up.

*Reyna and her spunkyness. She may be a sassy little thing, but she is a free spired litttle lady who can always brighten my day.

*My hubby. Even if I was ticked at him for not shutting his alarm off after the 4th time this morning, I still get to wake up to him everyday. He is a great husband and a very active parent. I couldn't ask for more.

*My job and the crew I work with. Even though I am away from my babies, I get to come to work and be around a great bunch of people.

*Family. I would be absolutely lost without them.

Today

Today,

  • I am cleaning house, making piles for St. Vincent and piles for resale. I am sick of holding onto things that I may or may not need in the future. They are leaving for good.
  • I haven't showered or even thought about showering today. I am still in my pj's, my hair is a mess and don't ask me if I have brused my teeth and hair or not. You might not want to know that answer.
  • We have been making a mess and playing with every toy Reyna and Ruby own. I just finished picking up because I can only take a toy mess so long.
  • I pulled out clothes that will fit Ruby this winter. I forgot how many cute things Reyna had and hardly ever wore. I am so excited we get to use them again.
  • I plan on widdling my dvr list way down. There are several episodes of Sex & the City I plan to watch today.
  • I am chuckling that Jade went on his lunch to look for a deer he shot last night, searched for until midnight and still never found it. That is dedication. :) I do hope he finds it, I just find the whole hunting thing funny.
  • I have been catching up on documenting the girls' baby books. I pulled Reyna's out the other day and realized I had not paid any attention to it in quite some time.
  • I am ordering pictures since I am only about a year behind in doing so. Oops.
  • I am thankful for days off during the week. :)

This chick is done scrubbin'

Guess what?

Cleaning-done
laundry-done
Rugs-clean and put back out
Sink-Let's just say Fly lady would be oh-so-proud
Cat litter-Changed
Groceries-Once again, Meijer has my money
Packing-Almost done.

A HUGE thank you to my mom for always helping me out when I need it. She is seriously the best! And a huge hug and thank you to Maria. I appreciate you taking on my little monster for a few hours. I couldn't have done it w/out you.

I told myself I was going to turn in early, but I am dying to watch Lipstick Jungle. I will be heading back after that.

Oh, I am forgetting the most important part of my check off list. Can you guess?????

The painting!

I tried calling Jade all afternoon. No answer. He had said he was going to leave early to pick up more paint, finish up and try to take a quick snooze. I left Hosmer's and he called. He was wondering where I was? Okay, where the heck was he. Anyway, he said (it was 5:30 at this point) he had just woke up and he was getting ready to start on the painting. I admit, I was a little frustrated b/c I knew I couldn't start scrubbing until he was done therefore, I would be up late cleaning. We came home, the painting was complete. In fact, everything was back in place and he was getting ready to head out the door. He never took a nap. What a brat.

I cannot wait to share pic's and stories from Kristin's party tomorrow night. It should be a heck of a time. :)

Just the "facts"

Fact: This morning Reyna was given two things for breakfast @ Nana and Papa's. A delicious cinnamon roll from the bakery and a bowl of oatmeal. Guess which she picked? The oatmeal. What a funny gal.

Fact:We are laaaaazy today. Reyna is sleeping, Jade is vegging, watching football and I am not feeling too ambitious either.

Fact:Steaks on the menu for dinner tonight. Yumm.

Fact:We sign the papers on the house tomorrow. As of 5:15 tomorrow, our house will officially be for sale.

Fact:Jade asked me yesterday, "honey, do we really have to put a For Sale sign in our yard? Our neighbor's are going to start talking about us?" Me: Absolutely. Let them talk. Maybe they know someone looking to buy a house.

Fact:I bought another bag. Did I need another bag? No. Did I want another bag? Yes. Let's face it, sometimes it just makes you feel better buying bags. The one I linked to, isn't the exact bag and no, I didn't pay that much. Not even close. But I couldn't find the bag I bought on the Amazon website.

Fact:I need a really good technique on giving a toddler "pink" medicine. She HATES it. We had to hold her down and shoot it down her throat today. Any help?

Fact:The little lady is now awake from her nap and climbing onto my computer chair, trying to get the keyboard so this concludes my post.

Pulling out my hair.

I picked up Reyna from Hosmer's house today around 3:30. We were driving down West Avenue and came to a red light. I heard a tiny little voice in the back seat saying, "french fries." Yes, we were sitting next to a Wendy's. What does that tell you? I promise, we don't eat out that often. Needless to say, it was adorable.

Today has been crazy. Okay, let me rephrase that. This week has been crazy. There has been something going every night. Jade has been working on our back room and we haven't been to bed before 11-11:30 each night. Every morning this week, we have been crawling out of bed as late as we possible can. Our alarm has been Reyna instead of getting up to our actual alarm clock.

I spoke with our realator at the beginning of the week. We scheduled to sign our papers next Monday and have her asst. take pictures on Tuesday. Well, long story short, but something isn't working right on our lawn mower and Jade wasn't sure if he was going to be able to cut it again before Tuesday. Anyway, I rescheduled our pic's for tomorrow @ 10 am. So, instead of watching Grey's Anatomy season premiere, I was outside (in the dark) pulling weeds along our driveway and shoving stuff into closets that looked like "clutter" to me. I am sure our neighbors were wondering why that crazy lady across the street was outside @ 10 pm singing along to her Ipod while pulling weeds in the dark. Yep, I have lost it.

Thank you, Maria for making a positive list and posting it. That is just what I am going to do. Instead of griping to you how, "when it rains, it pours" and how there isn't enough hours in my day, I will think positive.

  • Reyna...for always making me laugh, for her kisses and hugs she loves to give and her sweet little smile.
  • For my hubby who is an extremely hard worker and still puts up with me after all this time. Brave man, I say.
  • Our gorgeous weather.
  • Time with my dad tonight @ aerobics.
  • That we have a roof over our head. No matter how much I complain or worry about stuff, there is always someone who has it worse.
  • For the fact that we are healthy. (We know several fighting cancer right now and it just doesn't seem fair.)
  • Being able to have our parents around. I don't realize how much I take that for granted. I don't know what I would do w/out them.
  • Tim Horton's for keeping me going around the 3 o' clock hour.

There you have it. Hope you all had a great day.

6.19.2008

A few things I would love to have.

  • I have had my eye on one of these for a while now. I didn't want to run out and buy one when I first started scrapping because I wasn't sure if I was going to stick with it. Now I know that I am, I would love to have one of these babies!
  • The Silent Setter. I would like to start using eyelets and really don't want to bust out a hammer everytime I use them. Way too loud.
  • Love these stamps.
  • New black sandals Aren't these adorable?!
  • I have had my eye on this for a while. Oh, and this.

A girl can dream, right?!

6.11.2008

Once again,

Things I am so grateful for today.

  • Waking up on time (6:15)
  • Getting Reyna out the door and making it on time to my meeting @ 8:15. Whew...it was a tough one though.
  • Good day at work.
  • Reyna's smiling face when I picked her up from Sara's.
  • Good rides with Reyna in the car.
  • Good naps, Sex & The City re-runs, quiet afternoons
  • Dinner with my family @ my aunts tonight.
  • Something arriving UPS today.....Can you guess what it was? I will post tomorrow. I am headed to bed.

What's on your list?

So, it wasn't the greatest of mornings. Certain things didn't go as planned. I am over it. I could have posted a not-so-nice post earlier, but I decided against it. Instead, I decided to post on a more positive note. So, here is my list of stuff that I am thankful for today.

  • Waking up, having a good cup of coffee with Jade before he rushed off to work.
  • The rain falling down so I wouldn't have to manually water my plants. ( I know, pathetic.)
  • Reyna sleeping in so I could have time to watch an old episode of Sex & The City, check my e-mail, take a shower and put makeup on.
  • Reyna waking up in a good mood.
  • Sitting down, having a delicious lunch with Reyna instead of cleaning the kitchen while she is eating and then starving in the pm because I didn't eat with her.
  • Going thru the drive-thru at Tim Horton's before work.
  • Being able to go to Applebee's after work to meet up with a few friends.

Have a good day.
