More Gymnastics.

Reyna's gymnastics class had the opportunity to show off their moves at one of the local games last Friday night. It just so happened to be at her school school district, so she saw a ton of friends and she was so excited to see where she will go to school once she is older. I cannot believe this little girl will be 6 in JUST TWO MORE DAYS!!! A year ago she would NEVER have gone out there and did this. This year? She had no problem. She loves gymnastics and is learning so much.

Reyna LOVES gymnastics. To be honest, I am glad to. I don't think I was cut out to be a soccer mom. I remember when we signed her up and one day it was drizzling. When I asked Jade if he thought it was going to be cancelled, he looked at me like I was nuts. Gymnastics=indoors=happy mama.

This video was taken the week prior to Christmas. It was family/visitor night. Her class did a little dance to jingle bells. Afterwards, they had a gift exchange. This Friday, they are performing at halftime of a local basketball game. Reyna if super excited to go. I think her teacher has been telling her all about high school basketball because she sounds excited about the gymnastics part, but she is also excited about the concession stand. ;)

More Halloween Fun

Do not mind the picture taking at the end of this video. I thought my camera would stop the video taking, but apprarently it didn't. I could use my really nice movie making software on my computer, but meh. Whatev! I thought this was such a cute idea. They had doughnuts hanging from the ceiling for the kiddos to munch on with their hands behind their back. You will see, Miss Reyna did cheat a couple of times, but all in all, she did pretty well. ;) Of course, these videos are definitely made for our loved ones out of town and anyone else who enjoys watching my child chase a sweet treat mid air!!! haha!

Ruby loves to dance. When we are in the car and a song comes on that she likes, she moves her head from side to side, kicks her feet & claps. The other day, Ellen was on and she had Flo Rider ((I think) on and she was jamming.

Last weekend, I was going thru my blog archives and came across this video from a little over a year ago. After watching it, I felt the tears just streaming down my face. Partly because Ruby was a baby and now she is getting so big, but Reyna's voice was the other half of the reason for my tears. Her voice. Her little baby voice. How she sounds so little. And sweet. And baby-like. Oh, why do they have to get bigger?

In other news, Ruby is getting so big. She learned to climb up onto the couch today. You should have seen the look on her face. She was so darn proud of herself. Of course, she climbed up there to get to Kramer, who was snoozin' on the back of the couch.

She is also starting to say new words. Just to name a few:

mama, ma, mum
da, dada
Bobo
please
no (which sounds like nah)
baby
bankie (blankie)
mmmm hmmm...when she means yes, this is what she says

It is also adorable to hear her make cow, sheep, horse & pig sounds. The cow was the first one she accomplished

The girls have really been playing a lot more lately. It is so nice having them entertain each other.

Today is the day I would officially call Ruby a walker. She walked around here all day long. This video isn't exactly what I wanted to share, but it will have to do. Her pj's kept tripping her, Reyna is in the background in her underoo's & Molly (my friends little one) is in the kitchen making lots of noise. I will attempt for more Ruby footage tomorrow.

Reyna had Ruby cracking up last night while we were eating dinner. If Reyna wasn't entertaining her, I never would have been able to finish my yummy chicken parm. I love watching Reyna interact with Ruby. She is definitely paying more attention to her now that she is getting a little older.

I am making a really good attempt at posting more pic's and video for several reasons. This video is pretty funny due to Reyna yelling in the background that she found a spider. It turns out that she was freaking about a fly.

This video is for Uncle Bob. And you say I never post. :) Love ya!

Bear with me. We were sick last week and I am still not myself. I had a sinus infection, which seemed 100 times worse being preggo. We were out of town, had family in town. Life has been hectic and everytime I want to blog or feel like I should blog about something, I end up doing something else. Reyna is sleeping and I still need to go switch her carseat around in the car and scrap the bubble gum that is stuck inside of our dryer. Fun stuff, huh?

So, in a day or so, I promose to fill you in on all of the fun, exciting and juicy details going on in our lives. :) For now, I leave you with a video of our little fishy. Reyna loves swim class. We have one more session and I am hoping to continue her lessons after this.

One last thing....stay tuned...I am putting up an expectnet pole this week. I am anxious to see all of your guesses on what this little peanut is. Yes, there will be a prize involved. :)

She loves to sing!

Reyna loves to sing. I was able to record her singing this morning. I hope I can get some more of her songs. It's so adorable to listen to her.

Okay, so Reyna has been doing this thing where she will look at pictures and name everyone. Or, if we are just hanging out, she will look around and start pointing and naming everyone. It's too cute, really. Up until today, she wouldn't say her name when she was looking at our family picture. She would say, "mama, daddy....mama, daddy." She would skip over herself. Until today, that is. I was so happy to have caught this. By the way, when Reyna says her name, it's sounds like, "Nayna."

I hate living so far from my grandparents. I was talking to them this morning and they love looking at pic's, but they mentioned videos. I am going to try my hardest (for them) to start recording more.

Reyna & I splashed around tonight in her pool. Our dog, Nellie, was outside and Reyna loves yelling for her.
