The girls painted today.

Birdie houses.

Reyna wanted a house triple this size.

Roobs was fine with a teeny one.

After Reyna's house was dry, she climbed the tree to hang it in the "perfect spot" for the birds.

Ruby caked her paint on, but when it's dry, it will go next to Reyna's

She will not be climbing.

She will rely on big sis for that job.

I found the girls sitting in the recliner watching tv together last week. It was so sweet. I tried to sneak up on them, but Reyna saw me right away.

While I ADORE these little faces, I am looking forward to a night out with Nicki for dinner and drinks. This mama needs a break. :)

I am a bit obsessed with my new Kitchen Aid Mixer. I have also found a new found love for making homemade bread. There is NOTHING better than the aroma of fresh bread baking in the oven.

I have a special bond with my dad. They have a special bond with Papa. Have I mentioned he randomly stops by during the day just to visit and have a cup of coffee when he is in the area? Love him.

Day #16
Today I am thankful for this dude. My brother + my friend. He is a Godfather to Reyna and the Uncle that the girls can't wait to see when he comes walking thru the door. We are all pretty lucky to have him around.

{Almost} Wordless Wednesday-The Shed Part 1

I thought our shed would house a few garden tools...nope. It's going to be big enough for our camper, riding lawn mower and everything else in our garage. It's going to be a very nice addition to the back yard.

Uncle Bobby has been helping a lot! The girls LOVE that. :)

No project is complete w/out a fit from Roobs. She was made I wouldn't let her play in the front unattended. Mean ol' mama.

She was fine when Reyna found her a worm.

Uncle Brad was here yesterday. We love him, too.

I am SO thankful for my hubs. Not only is he my best friend, but he is an awesome daddy. Oh, and the man can build some stuff, let me tell you. :)
