Our weekend.

Is anyone else wondering where the heck our summer went? I mean, didn't it just start to get warm? My thoughts exactly.



We had a great weekend. Last night, I was thinking about when the next time we will have a long weekend is. The only conclusion I came up with was Thanksgiving. Can that be right? Are we already in that part of the year? Does that mean I need to start thinking about holiday chaos, Christmas shopping and the little lady turning another year older? Where has the time gone?



Okay, back to our lovely-not-so-productive weekend. Sunday, I think I mentioned that I had the morning to myself. Jade was golfing in a benefit and Reyna stayed @ Nana & Papas. I cleaned, took an uninterrupted shower, got ready by myself. It was heaven. Although, as we were getting up that morning, I looked at Jade and said, "this is nice once in a while, but it's way too quiet around here." He definitely agreed.



I headed to my parents early afternoon. After Reyna woke up, we headed to Toy's R Us to pick up a booster seat for Reyna. I had been looking for the Fisher Price Cash Register everywhere and finally found it there. Reyna loves it. I would definitely recommend it. That evening, we had a bbq since Bobby & Emilie were making their way back to school Tuesday morning. My grandma & Em's parents joined us. It was a very nice get-together.



Monday? Well, I don't think I made it out of my pj's. It was very nice for a change. Jade went and helped a friend for a good portion of the day while Reyna & I held the fort down at home. She napped, I scrapped. After nap, we picked veggies, played outside and made dinner.



Jade & I watched a couple of movies this weekend, too. Sunday night, we watched Vantage Point and last night we watched Fool's Gold. Did I like them? They were okay. I would recommend Fool's Gold over Vantage Point. Have you seen either one? If so, did you like them?



So, I hope everyone had a nice long weekend. Is everyone else as sad as me to say goodbye to Summer?
