Post-Christmas.

It was amazing how different Christmas was this year compared to last year. Reyna had such a blast. Looking around our house, I am still not sure where we are going to put everything. Jade is in Wisconsin and after he comes home, we plan on packing a lot away (not new, old) and storing it. There's too much clutter going on and you all know how I feel about clutter.

I am staring at my tree as we type and I would totally take it down and put it away if I could actually haul it back into storage. I am one of those, "okay, it's the day after Christmas, let's pack this crap away" type of gals. We were too busy the day after Christmas, so I am patiently waiting for Tuesday to come so we can take it down.

Jade & I don't really exchange gifts anymore. We usually just do stockings. He did surprise me with a new pair of winter boots this year. I have been borrowing a pair of my mom's since I was too cheap to go invest in my own. I am anxious to go have a mani/pedi when the weather gets warm with the gift certificate my parents gave to me and my mom and dad surprised me with a B Markowsky big black purse. It is gorgeous! I had a few compliments on it last night. It sure beats what I was carrying around before. Jade's parents gave me a Target gift card instead of buying me gifts. They knew I wanted a few things for our house and decided to let me pick them up. I cannot wait to do some shopping.

Reyna stayed at my parents last night. Guess what time I woke up this morning? 10! I cannot tell you the last time I slept in the late. It's so quiet in my house right now. I almost don't know what to do with myself. I have a TON of laundry and a few areas that are in dire need of a good scrubbin'. My parents and Grandma are coming over later to bring Reyna and I am making dinner.

So last night, I got together with my girlfriends from high school. What a blast! It's so funny how we all have such different lives now, but we get together and act as though we never skipped a beat. I love it. We are all so scattered everywhere from LA to San Diego to Viriginia and Idianapolis, so Christmas is about the only time we all can get together. One of our friends, just had a baby about three months ago. It was the first time meeting her. What a doll.

Anyway, I have a lot of pic's from Christmas, but I am not feeling too motivated about downloading and sitting here waiting for them to upload. I will post them later.

I hope everyone had as good of Christmas as we did. I felt so blessed this year we had our families nearby, a roof over our head and delicious meals to eat.

Tomorrow, my mom & I are taking Reyna to The Chelsea Treehouse so she can play. I think we are going to go early and do lunch afterwards. I have never been and have heard great things. Plus, I LOVE Chelsea. My grandparents lived there for many years right downtown therfore, is just a very special place for me. I have many great memories there.

It's fun when the kids get a little older to understand Christmas....they love it!

Hey, we missed you for our widow's night/slumber party... what spending the night with 5 kid's under the age of 3 didn't sound appealing to you?! LOL ;)
