I wanted to just post a pic and keep it a "wordless wednesday," but I don't think that is going to be possible today.
I took this pic of Reyna a month of so ago. She loves to paint. My grandparents and aunt sent her stuff for Easter and this was one of the goodies she received. She was so serious while she was painting this.
I am working today, which is normally my day off. I took yesterday off due to a scheduling conflict/sitter issue. I probably could have pawned Reyna off on someone, but it was just easier to work today. I got up with Jade this morning and woke up from somewhat of a bad dream. I was @ Taco Bell (okay, so this part wasn't so bad :)) with my Uncle Dave and a couple other family members and I had to go to the bathroom. I was pregnant in my dream. In my dream, when I went to the bathroom I started showing signs of losing the baby (I won't get into detail). Ugh, it was awful and I was thankful to wake up and get a cup of coffee. I woke up stressing out, which is an awful feeling.

I have mentioned that this Saturday I am heading to Novi with the ladies to attend Mega Meet. I am so anxious to check out the latest and greatest goods, maybe purchase a few "must haves" and scrap @ the fab Archiver's later in the day, but I am also feeling a little overwelmed. Dumb, right? It's a damn hobby, why am I feeling overwelmed about the whole thing?! I haven't scrapped in forever! Over the winter while I should have been scrapping, I was never in the mood, feeling sick and well, you know the rest. Now, I am feeling so behind. I need to order pic's. I cannot even tell you the last time I ordered pic's. I have months and months to go thru. It sounds like a huge chore! Now, with baby #2 on it's way to make his/her debut, I feel like I need to be caught up with Reyna's book and I am not even thru with her first year! I want to scrap moments and things that stand out instead of just scrapping everything, but I seem to have lost my creativity. Don't get me wrong, I cannot wait to scrap, but I need to learn to relax, take a deep breath and just enjoy the hobby itself. Right?

i don't scrap, but that is EXACTLY how i feel about blogging - sometimes it stresses me out. i'm a dork :)
I am in your same shoes, Les. I hate when it's been forever since I've scrapped. I always feel overwhelmed. I FINALLY, just today, ordered my pictures through Walgreens. I hadn't printed pictures in ages and now I have 130 pictures to go pick up and scrap. Ahhh! We should have a scrap night in my basement. We could rent a chick flick and get some snacks to satisfy our pregnant cravings. Maybe an evening next week??
Sorry about your bad dream. I wonder why you were at Taco Bell. Ha!
Try not to stress about the scrapbooking. You'll get it done. Im sure you will have fun on saturday with everyone ( wish I could go, but I would rather spend the day with Reyna...if you know what I mean)
Just keep in mind its something you are doing because its FUN and you ENJOY doing it.
Oh and I like Reyna's "serious" face while painting. She much take after Gran!
Reyna's such a doll! :) I love the pic! I know exactly how you feel about the dream thing- happens to me a lot :( Its awful- and yeah then you wake up stressed out and anxious. Not fun... hopefully you'll have fun on Sat and not stress!
Scrapbooking gets like that for me also...I will get into a rut because I stress about all I want to get done and all I am behind on, so I just won't do any of it. Lately, I have just been going through my pictures and one will pull me in and that's what I will scrapbook. With 5 kids it's tough...but I'm trying to take turns each time I scrapbook...a different kid each time. So far it's working pretty well!
For my printing, I recieved a HP Photoshop printer from Best Buy. I LOVE it!! It's portable, so I always have it next to me and I can pick any picture I want and be able to print it out. It prints up to 5x7 and you can also print out as many as 4 small pictures on a 4x6 sheet. It also has color effects (such as black and white) and many other ways to alter your pictures! I guess it has wireless capabilites, so you can transfer your pictures from your computer wirelessly...I haven't had time to try that yet, but I'm definitely going to! Anyway, for me it's a great way to be able to print out the pictures I want in the sizes I want to use on my pages...and to do it quickly!
I hope you get out of your slump and enjoy your time at Archiver's!
