2 months

Ruby,

Today you are two months old. I cannot believe how fast time is going by. Honestly, I don't remember life before you. It's funny how you complete our family. Poor daddy, he is forever surrounded by estrogen. Oh, well. I think he secretly enjoys it.

I feel like this past month, we have really started to learn your patterns and what you like vs. what you dislike. I cannot believe how mild mannered you are. When you wake up for your middle of the night feeding, I just hear you moving around and making little noises. You never cry. Speaking of sleeping, we took you out of your basinette this month and the transition went surprisingly smooth. I was very nervous about putting you into Reyna's room, but all went well.

This past couple of months you have acquired several nicknames. Reyna loves to call you, "Roobs." Daddy has started calling you Ruby-shooby-dooby, Bear cub and Ruby Tuesday. Oh and don't take any offense to this, but Chunky Monkey is also at the top of our lists. Don't feel bad...we love all of your nooks and crannies. :)

You are still a great eater. I always say, you could find your mama in a crowded room. You have set a good eating schedule to around every 3 hours. Usually, it's a little more frequent in the evenings, but that's okay.

Bathtime is still one of your favorites. Reyna loves to help give you a bath. She likes to wash your piggy toes and belly. :)

Ruby, you are such a sweet baby to have. I love your adorable smile and sweet personality.
