- We stayed at my parents last night. I was thanking my lucky stars this morning that they both slept really well. I had my doubts on Ruby since that was her first sleepover, but she did well.
- I am staring out my window at work right now and it is depressing me. It's dreary, rainy and cold. Um, yuck. I need to move.
- I have started Christmas shopping. I refuse to shop last minute this year. So far, I have stuff for the girls. But, the rest of my list is made now all I need to do is shop. I also refuse to cram it all in on one day. I want to do a little here and there and actually enjoy myself. Did I just say that? Is that truly possible this time of year? I don't think so.
- I was laying in bed the other night dreading decorating the house for Christmas. Is that horrible? I don't even feel like taking the time to put up a tree. I hear the word tree and the words hassle and mess come to my mind. I am such a grinch.
- Things have gone pretty smooth since hubby has been gone. I miss him terribly, but have enjoyed Sex & the City reruns, card making and surfing the net in silence after the girls go to bed.
- The other day, Ruby was under her play gym thingy with Reyna while I was getting ready for work. All of a sudden Reyna yells, "mama, Ruby is kicking me." Then it was, "mama, Ruby is hitting me." I couldn't even take her serious. I was cracking up at her while trying to apply mascara.
- I am listening to Pandora. Kenny Chesney's new song with Dave Matthews is on. Kenny's voice is soo hawt!

The weather does suck, I just want to veg and nap. I have bought a few things for Christmas, but I'm no where near done. I can't believe I already have things, it seems too early.

At least you have a handle on things for chrstmas. It hate shopping last minute. Im halfway done! whoohoo! After saturday, maybe you will be too!
don't feel too bad about the whole decorating thing, the year Lexi was born, the tree was undecorated until late Christmas eve nite when I finally threw on 3 ornaments... and that was it!=) (the girls are young, they won't notice or remember;)
