Christmas survey

Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper, mostly. I will use a couple of gift bags this year only because of a few items that would not fit in a box very well.



Real tree or artificial? This is the big debate in our house. I prefer a real tree, while Jade insists we use our artificial because it's better for the environment. We decided to use our fake until the girls are old enough to take out and chop one down.



When do you put up the tree? Two weeks before Christmas. Never earlier. I love our tree, but can't stand the extra clutter of Christmas stuff in the house. I am horrible, aren't I?!



Do you like eggnog?Yuck.



Favorite gift received as a child? Two gifts stick out in my head. One was the leather jacket ((green)) that my grandparents bought for me. I wanted that coat sooo bad. And, baby shivers. Once again, Gran and Grandpa bought her too.



Hardest person to buy for? Jade's parents are hard to shop for. They have everything.



Easiest person to buy for? Definitely the girls. Unfortunately, Jade & I do not have nieces and nephews to buy for...someday!



Do you have a nativity scene? Yep. I have the Willow Tree set. I would like to get the camels to complete it.



Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail. I love receiving. That is on my to do list today. Post office to mail ours out.



Worst Christmas gift you ever received? No comment.



Favorite Christmas movie? National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. It's a classic!



When do you start shopping? Usually after Thanksgiving. I would like to be done by Thanksgiving and I say that ever year, but it has yet to happen.



Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Nope.



Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Cheesy potatos, prime rib, my mom's dough ball cookies...the list could go on and on. What's not good to eat at Christmas, right?!



Lights on the tree? Yes. White. I thought about switching over to the big chunky colored lights, but not this year.



Favorite Christmas songs? O' Holy Night..Celine Dion can sing it best.



Travel at Christmas or stay home? Christmas Eve we will be with Jade's family and Christmas morning/early afternoon at home until that afternoon when we will go to my parents house. I like traveling. It's nice to stay home in the morning, but I love seeing all of our family, too.



Can you name all of Santa's Reindeer? Dasher, Dancer Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Ruldolph



Angel on the tree top, or a star? Nothing as of right now. I am in the process of looking for something new.



Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? We will open gifts with Jade's side Christmas eve, Christmas morning at home and Christmas day at my parents. Yes, there will be a lot of crap in our house after Christmas.



Favorite ornament theme or color? I have light pink and champagne colored bulbs on the tree, but we also have our special ornaments. It's always fun to pull them out and think back to when we got them.



What do you want for Christmas this year? To sell our house.:) A pair of Uggs, new perfume and just to spend the day watching Reyna & Ruby enjoy Christmas. That is the most important.
