Thank you for all the comments, calls and concerns on our loss of Nellie. You are all the best.


A few asked how Reyna is handling Nellie's absence in the house. She is fine. I don't think that she truly understands what happened. The entire two months Nellie was suffering with seizures, we explained to her that Nellie wasn't feeling well. We stressed the importance of playing nice. She still makes random remarks about her as if she is still here. It will probably take her a while to realize that Nellie will not be around.


I would also like to add, it was a very hard decision to make when Nellie's last day with us would be. After going thru a seizure, she would sleep and be back to her old, spunky self. That was probably the worst part of the process. And, she was still very physically fit. That is the part that bothered Jade the most.

I am still so sorry, and I am glad to hear that Reyna is adjusting well. I can only imagine how hard it is to have to make the decision as to when the time is right.
