Just a glimpse of our past week.

The only thing that I dislike about leaving for a weekend is coming home. It usually takes me a week to get caught up with life and then it's the weekend again. It was obviously well worth it, but you know what I mean.

Also, I wanna give a big shout out to Miss Emilie who found out she is going to get her Sparty on this summer!! Woot, woot. She found yesterday she was accepted into their Master's program. We could not be happier that she will be living nearby again.

So, I haven't started Easter shopping. Opps. I am more of a, "let's just worry about it the day before" kinda gal. I do have a list compiled though of what I would like to stuff their baskets with. I am really trying to keep it simple. I would like to get both girls a book, pair of pj's (nightgown for Reyna which is all she will wear), jelly beans for Reyna and some sort of Gerber food item for Ruby to compensate her for those yummy jelly beans that she will not be tasting this year. I might put a couple other things in their basket, just not sure what yet. What do you stuff your kiddos baskets with? Also, do you dress your babe's up for Easter or just let them go casual?

So, Miss Ruby has been rolling like there's no tomorrow. You can see from the pic's, that she spends quite a bit of time on her belly now. Before I left for girls weekend, she detested her belly. Now, she realizes if she is on her belly, she can turn herself in a circular motion and she is even starting to try and push off with her feet. You get where this is going, right?! It's definitely not going to be long now, before we have a girl on the move. Yikes.

So, a funny Reyna story. The first two pic's of her....yesterday, she came up to me with pajama pants on her head and informed me she was getting married. Um, I think we need to lay off the Disney princess movies a little bit. Have I mentioned she is obsessed?

Another reason why Reyna has been cracking me up lately. I need to scrap this, but she has been asking the infamous questions, "why" and using the word because for everything. For instance, "Mama, I love you because you are my mama." Or at nap today, "Kramer brought mud into the house today, because I am stuck in it and because he doesn't like spiders." This was when I was laying her down for nap and she told me she couldn't move because she was stuck in mud. Dramatic much, I know. So, she kept telling Jade & I that he brought mud in and it was all over. She is too funny. She is always coming up with something funny to say.

That's all I've got for now. :)

Looks like you had a wonderful week. The girls look beautiful. We don't really do Easter here. I am going to attempt to dye eggs since my princess obsessed girl picked out a dinsey princess egg kit.

I love the baby chub! Oh, how I miss that newer-baby chub!

I'm still avoiding the Easter baskets around here, I just can't bring myself to bring more candy and trinkets into our house!

They get cuter and cuter!! I hope Ruby is enjoying the bouncer. My father in law figured out that if you bought the gerber treats in bulk they would be like 46 dollars a pound. I think he has to much time on his hands. Hope all is well.

Who put rubberbands on Ruby's arms?! Briar had those exact same rolls just a few months ago, and now that she never. stops. moving. they have gone away (and I miss them!)

Reyna cracks me up - 3-going-on-33, right? Love the logic from her!

We are very casual for Easter, and this will be only the second year I have done baskets (if I make it to Target before next weekend.) I usually stick with Goldfish, animal crackers, crayons, and something for outdoors (sidewalk chalk, bubbles, etc.) My Mom got each of the big kids a movie, and I think I am going to steal your pajama idea - we are supposed to get into the 70s this week, so it is time to add something lighter than flannel to the pajama drawer!

What cute pictures! Has Reyna watched the Princess & the Frog yet? Different twist on the whole princess movie, but my kiddos love it!
I am so behind as far as Easter too! I did buy the kids some cute clothes from Childrens Place though :)

the ROLLS! so freaking adorable! both of your girls are. :)

we are casual on easter. for tucker's basket, i got him a 'basket' he can use outside in the dirt, then some sidewalk chalk (for our new sidewalk ... i'm even geeked out to draw on it), a rubber 'four-square' ball, some candy, bubbles ... and whatever else i find before then to throw in there. :)

My kids are both fans of the PJ pants hat. :)

We dress up the kiddos for Easter Sunday. Okis wears a little shirt and tie and Babolly wears a pretty dress. I am going to attempt curling her hair this year too I think. Should be interesting!

What the Easter Bunny is bringing my kids: rain boots (I still have to find some small enough for Babolly), Thomas trains, candy, and maybe books.
