Projects

I gave our front sitting room a facelift. There was an assortment of pictures on the wall. I took them all down, put up the shelves that used to be in another spot, found a picture and a microfiber cubicle that Reyna can sit on to read. It is also serving the purpose of storing several of Ruby's toys, since you all know how much I detest clutter sitting around the house. If you do click to enlarge the pictures, you will see I have not spackled the other holes yet. I was waiting to do this after I hung the shelves b/c I ended up using a few of the existing holes. I am really happy with this room. The minor upgrades just feel fresh to me. I have also painted Ruby's letters for her room, hung a couple new pieces in the kitchen, moved some artwork and frames around. I am in the process of painting a wooden children's table for the girls. The chairs are the green in their room, which are complete. I will probably start on the table tonight. My last and final project inside the house is to make roman shades for the girls three windows in their room. I got this fun idea from LeeAnn and I am hoping to get a little help from my mom since I am not-so-crafty when it comes to fabrics n' such. It has been a lot of fun creating and finishing projects around the house. I feel so crafty!
