Friday Night Leftovers-back to the land of living edition.

•  It's slightly after midnight, so technically it's Saturday, but the leftovers are piled high.
• I was sick this week. It sucked. Monday night, I started feeling icky. Tuesday morning, I woke up with chills, headache, throwing up, congestion. The works. I was sick Tuesday, Wednesday and took a sick day on Thursday. I needed a day to recooperate. I felt horrible, but also felt like a horrible mom. I always feel this way when I am sick. It makes me feel like such a failure as a mom.
• Today was the first day that I felt "normal." It was nice to hang out with the girls. This morning, we ran errands (another post to come about this manana), played, splashed in the pool and just hung around the house for the afternoon.
• Last week, I wrote everything down that I wanted to accomplish this week. The list has been pushed back, which is okay with me. Now that I am feeling better, I am anxious to start tackling some painting, organizing and scrubbing.
• Due to the extra zzzzzz's I took in while sick, I woke up Thursday morning @ 4 and could not go back to sleep. I must have woke Jade b/c he woke up too and was unable to fall back to sleep. Can you guess what we did until it was time for him to get ready for work????? C'mon, get your head out of the gutter.....:) We watched our favorite four gals several episodes of Season 4. Shhh....don't tell. Yes, Jade enjoys watching Sex & The City with me. He is such a good hubs.
