Apple Orchard

The older I get, the more & more I love fall. I love the smell in the air, warm days + cool nights, the colors and of course, Flavor Fruit Farms. I mean, who doesn't love doughnuts + cider? Bobby & I took the girls last week. It was kind of on a whim, but it was nice b/c there was nobody there. It was in the middle of the week and usually when we go, it's so packed there is a line out the door for doughnuts.

The girls really enjoyed the animals. I posted lots of pictures just to show you how impossible it is to get a decent shot with the girls, especially Ruby. The little booger refuses to look at the camera when she knows that I am wanting her to.

Example #uno. I have a crazy a&% look on my face trying to get her to hold still. Fail.

She loved the animals. Of course, I was wanting her to look at me, but heck no she woudn't.

Another attempt. C'mon Roobs, one with Uncle Bobby. Nope.

Reyna will ham it up if she can stand in one place for me to get a decent shot.

Pouting. Now for the life of me, I cannot remember why, but it was funny.

Okay, last attempt. Let's try a shot with mama & both of her little ladies. Reyna was still pouting.

Ruby discovered Reyna had ice cream. Forget the picture, she was too busy trying to snag the cone.

Alright, pulling mama's hair will work, too.

Oh, now I remember why Reyna was pouting...so, she has an adorable pink, downfeathered vest with fleece stripes on the inside. I told her I wanted her to wear it and she threw a big fit about not wanting to wear it. So, I told her, she didn't have to. I made it clear that it was her choice and if she was cold, I didn't want to hear any whining. Can you guess where I am going with this????
Reyna decided she wanted ice cream, instead of a doughnut. We found a table outside and guess who started whining & crying because she was cold????

Only if she would have listened to her mama when I said the vest was adorable that it was chilly outside, she would not have froze her little heiney off.

What a great idea to enjoy FFF when everyone else is working. I have to make it out there yet this year (for the donuts!)
I love the pictures!! The one with Ruby pulling your hair needed a caption/explanation. It looks like she has her fist held out there :)

It is my life mission to get a good picture with my kids. I don't understand why it is nearly impossible either :)
