Friday Night Leftovers-Family Edition

• My Aunt Janette is here! I love when we have family in town to visit. I have always been very close to my Aunt Janette, so it's awesome having her here. She is the Aunt that let me drive her car on the country roads long before I had my license......She was always the one who applied my makeup for dance recitels.....She is the one who works for Disney. Love her. The girls are also enjoying her company.
• It's Friday and the last day the girls & I left the house was Monday. I told Jade last night I was starting to feel like a caged animal. The girls & I met my brother & Aunt @ my parents this morning and spent the day together. I got Ruby down for a nap & Reyna settled in front of the TV with Mary Poppins, while Bobby & I ran to Meijer. It was nice spending time with Bobby for a little while sans the girls. We were able to joke around, act silly & have good convo w/out interruption.
• I have the best hubs. No really, I do. He is such a good hubby, daddy and works his butt off to be a good provider. He is the hubs that found out he had high cholestrrol and went on meds right away (even though he hates taking it), started running more, taking lots of vitamins just so he can stay as healthy as possible for his girls. He is the hubs that cooks a breakfast for us both Saturday & Sunday. He is the hubs that goes to the store on Sunday mornings just to pick up a Sunday paper for me. He is the hubs that calls me at the most random times thruought the day just to say hello or see what I am doing. I love him.
• The girls (Reyna especially) have a tendancy to put things in very random spots. We have been missing our DVD remote for the family room and I am still convinced it is somewhere around the house. Our toothpaste had been missing for the past two days. I found it tonight while cleaning the front room. It was in our cube ottoman stored away with Ruby's toys. When I questioned Reyna she informed me that Ruby had put it in there, not her.
• Another thing about Jade. He bought me a new camera! It was a very "out of the blue" moment. Long story short, but my camera was stolen and he went out, bought me a new one and brought it home and surprised me. It's a new Canon & I l-o-v-e it.
• Tomorrow, we are heading to my parents for a huge din din. My mom is making enchiladas & Mexican rice. We have a couple of reasons to gather for dinner. First, Aunt Janette is here & my Grandma just finished 5 weeks (5 days a week) of radiation in Ann Arbor!!!! Her good friend, flew in from Florida, so we will be dining with them, as well.
