I remember when I was working, I did not care too much for Sundays. Well, it was actually Sunday nights that I dreaded. I wanted to use Sunday to get ready for the week, but I was always torn because it should be a day of relaxation. It dawned on me today that I no longer dread Sunday nights. I have learned to enjoy Sundays. Now, I leave the laundry for Monday, nevermind the dusting & I even managed to make it thru the day w/out even making my bed. You know that is a huge step for me, right? 
The girls & I didn't crawl out of bed until almost 9. Jade was hunting and while we waited for him to come home, I sipped on coffee out of my favorite mug, the girls played and we all listened to a Jackson Johnson + DMB+ Bob Marley+ Ben Harper mix on Pandora. It was bliss. What made the morning even better when Jade showed up with a Sunday paper tucked under his arm for me & the awesome breakfast he whipped up.

Ruby managed to make a mess or two today, which I did not even attempt to clean until the end of the day. Once again, this is a huge step for me.
My parents came out early afternoon and had lunch with us. The girls really enjoyed their company.

Reyna enjoyed the big blow pop Jade brought home for her. It took her forever to eat it.
Please, no judgement. I love this picture b/c of Reyna, but as you can see, not only did I fail to make my bed, I also failed to do anything with myself, as well. Oh, well. That is what Sundays are all about, right?
My evening came to a close with some oh-so-delicious red wine. So, our Sunday was relaxing. I am curious, how was your Sunday?

I think that's totally what Sunday's should be like :) However, I am one of those people that doesn't usually like Sundays....for all of the reasons you mentioned. Yesterday however, I didn't do the normal Mon-Fri prep. I took a nap in the afternoon and it was wonderful :)

Sounds like a fab Sunday! I think it's funny you have a fave mug, I do too! Except mine isn't nearly as cute as yours but for some reason I always reach for it!
Our Sunday was nice. We visited the pumpkin patch and carved our pumpkins. It was a gloomy day here so it was pretty low key!
Now that I'm working part time, Sundays are also pleasurable for me. We usually spend it cleaning, but I love knowing that I don't have to do anything if I don't want to.
i think it is so funny that you are learning to LEAVE a mess. haha! i have been doing the same ... by default! cute pictures. oh, and my sunday was spent making sure tucker was feeling better (flu struck) and levi was happy (those two new teeth are sharp) and trying to get some of my own 'work' done. oh, and i also dreaded the week to come. boo!
