The Story of Us.

If only you could see the dreariness I am starting at right now as I sit in my dining room staring out the big picture window. Let me tell ya, it's depressing. I would rather see snow at this point. It's chilly, damp, dreary and it looks like it wants to rain or snow, but it just won't. Like I said, depressing.

Oh, did I mention we had no power this morning? Our little village was w/out power until 12 today. Not sure why, but whatever happened, the entire town was w/out. Reyna was mad she couldn't watch a movie this am and I will admit, I was a little pouty that a.) I couldn't brew a cup of joe or b.) check my mail. Thank goodness it was restored in a timely manner.

So, yesterday I decided to try the new Garnier Sleek & Shine Blow Dry Perfector stuff. I was curious to see if it was worth the $10 bucks or not. The first serum/cream that I slathered into my noggin was quite smelly. Reyna kept asking me what stunk. After I rinsed the smelly stuff out, I slathered in a cream that made me think I was going to have the greasiest hair in town.

I took the blow dryer to my hair and I guess I was thinking I was going to have this smooth & shiny hair w/out having to use my flat iron. Wrong. It was a little on the frizzy side, BUT it did make it super easy to take my flat iron to. It is supposed to last for up to seven washes, so I am anxious to see what happens when I wash it.

Reyna was devistated that my hair was no longer curly. She asked me to get rid of "that" hair and make my hair curly again. When I asked her why she didn't like it, she told me it was because it was no longer like hers. Awww...She is sweet.

This is not the most fab pic. Ruby was at my ankles, Reyna was crying (due to the lack of curls) & we were trying to get out the door for tumbling class.
