2 sick little babes

What is worse than having one of your babies throwing up?

What is worse, is having TWO of your babies sick. Thank goodness it wasn't at the same time.

Last night Jade & I were relaxing, he was watching tv & I was scrapping gift tags and wrapping a few presents. I heard Ruby on the monitor, so I went to check on her. When I walked into the bedroom, I immediately yelled for help.

I dreaded this day. This was the first time we have had to deal with one of the girls getting sick in bed and it was everywhere. I will spare you with the details.

I hopped into the bath with Ruby while Jade had the pleasure of cleaning the bedding and starting a load of laundry. I think he had the worst part of the deal, imo. He is such a good daddy.

Ruby was up until about 11. We went to bed and I was sure it was going to be a rough night, but I never heard another peep out of her. 

Today she is sipping gatorade and taking small bits of banana and cheerios.

It's so hard to see your babies sick.

I was excited to find these adorable little shoes yesterday to match Ruby's Christmas dress. The girls are wearing matching dresses, but Ruby is wearing red shoes & Reyna is wearing black.

If you are experiencing the same weather that we are today, be safe. It looks like the girls & I are homebound for the next couple of days. With Ruby sick & the yuck conditions, there is really no point in leaving the house.
