Friday Night Leftovers-The everything you ever needed to know version
- I finally had the time to clean the bathroom today & mop the kitchen. They were both disgusting, driving me crazy and I am so relieved to finally look at shiny floors, once again. I had more time to clean the house when I was working. No joke.
- I still plan on blogging about Christmas.
- Jade & I are going to get away for a night in March sans the girls. Em is going to come stay over with the girls so they will be in good hands while we head out for a night. I am excited to sleep in and have a really quiet car ride on the way there. It sounds kind of dumb, right?
- At Christmas, I requested a new tube of chapstick for my stocking. Normally, Kiehl's is my #1 choice, but I decided to try something new. I had heard great things about C.O Bieglow. Ever since, my lips have been horribly dried out & cracking in the corners. My lips have never been in such awful shape. Last night, I went chapstick shopping & decided on a classic good ol' tube of Carmex. Do you know, it has SAVED me??? I started using it yesterday and my lip problems? Gone. Who knew a 99 cent tube could save me?
- I just checked the forecast and it is supposed to be in the 40's next week. Do you know how happy this makes me??? Could we really be almost out of winter?? I will believe it when I see it.
- Jade & I are going to go see the new Adam Sandler movie on Sunday.
- Do you follow Matt Logelin's blog? If so, is anyone else as excited to read Two Kisses for Maddy?

Sounds like a lot of the same bullets I could put up.. Need to mop... need to blog Christmas.. And yes.. can't wait for Matt's book about Maddy!!
oh and Carmex... yes I love that stuff.. I actually find the small round tin container works better than the tube stuff.. not sure if its a different solution.. but it seems to heal great.. I always try to remember to put a nice coat on at bedtime, and it heals my lips during the night. :)
I'm a big fan of anything Burt's Bees. I LOVE that stuff. Once a lip stuff addict, always a lip stuff addict.
I have a few tubes of the C.O. Bieglow stuff that I like, but my go-to and trusty standby is almost always a tubes of orignal Chapstick - it just can't be beat!
Clean bathrooms and a clean kitchen floor make me so very happy. In a really sick way.
And seriously? Half the joy of leaving my house sans kids is the quiet of the carride and getting to listen to whatever I darn well please!
Here from FNL...Aquaphor is another great lip treatment.
I have been reading Matt's blog for ages and his book was an awesome read.
