Friday Night Leftovers.
My.children.are.both.sleeping......Heaven. Reyna rarely naps, so this is just a little slice of heaven for me. It is a dark and gloomy day here. It is currently thundering and raining. It is the perfect day to nap, but I just wanted to enjoy the silence in my house. Sleeping is for the birds, right?!
- For all my Keurig owners out there, you must run to your local Bed Bath & Beyond and pick up a box of Wolf Gang Puck Chef's Reserve Columbian Dark Roast. If you like a dark and smooth roast, check them out. I strongly recommend.
- Our veggie garden has been planted and I am more excited than ever to have one. I think it is because Reyna is really into it this year. She checks on the garden daily and helped in the planting process. Ruby? She thinks it is fun to trample thru with her itty bitty piggy toes.
- Jade's grandpa was put on an oxygen tank 24/7. He has this problem with his lungs where they are starting to fail him. He has never smoked a day in his life, but when he worked construction he was exposed to a lot of harmful chemicals. I know it bothers Jade a lot to see his grandpa like this. We are heading out there tonight to take them dinner.
- Ruby peed on the potty last night. I was changing her diaper and asked her if she wanted to try. She waddled her nakey little self into the bathroom, found her potty chair and went. She was so proud, she carried it out to the living room to show Jade & Reyna. We were so proud.
- This afternoon, I am hauling my 16 pound cat + both girls to the vet so Kramer can receive one measley shot. It is going to take more time to get my children and the cat loaded into the car than the actual vet appointment itself. Grrr.

Horray for peeing on the potty! :)
I think taking the kids to the vet for appointments is practically torture. Trying to control the animals AND the children... sheesh.
I'm not into the darker roasts but my MIL and step-FIL LOVE them, so I think I'm gonna buy them a box of that!
Ugh, I went to the vet myself with a 75 lb lab, a one year old and a ginormous pregnant belly...it was a pain in the TOOSH. The dog slipped his collar right in teh parking lot next to a SUPER busy 3-lane road and I had just unbuckled the baby so thankfully he was still in his car seat so I could grab the dog. Then once back on his leash, the dog pulled so hard that HUnter almost flew out of my arms. Ugh. I vowed to NEVER take any pets to the vet, with babies and no help, ever again. I hope your visit goes better! LOL
Proud of Ruby. Sorry to hear about Jade's grandpa.
Lov you bunches, Granna
