This morning, the girls & I went blueberry picking with my grandma. We picked a really good day to go. It was overcast and not too hot. I was hesitant taking Ruby, but she ended up having a lot of fun and picked quite a few blueberries. She took a few breaks from picking, but stayed right by me and just played.
When Reyna tells a story, she is so theatrical. I love listening to her because her eyes get huge, she uses hand gestures and the sound of her voice goes up and down. She kept calling me over to where she was picking if she found a really good blueberry or anytime she had found something "so cool." I love that the little things excite her. I hope she never loses that.
I felt so blessed that we had this day. It is one of those I will always remember. The girls had so much fun and so did I. I know I have mentioned it before, but my grandma has pancreatic cancer. It has gone to her lungs and unfortunately, surgery is not an option. As of right now, she is healthy. Well, healthy on the outside anyway. I am so glad that the girls know their great grandma and have the opportunity to do things with her. I pray everyday that she continues to feel good and stay as healthy as possible.

So glad you and the girls are spending quality time with Ruby. I am sure this is helping her also. She looks great in the pics. The girls are my favorite thing to see. Where did you find Andreas that matches Reyna's favorite dress? That word^is a dress. For some reason I can't back up and do any corrections on your site.

Looks like a fantastic day, I would love to take the kids blueberry picking! I'm glad you got this day with your grandma. I'm sorry she is going through this, I just lost my grandpa last winter to a long battle with cancer and kidney failure. She looks like a strong woman.
Fun. I should find a place to get blueberries. I missed strawberry picking because I had no idea what to do with them, but blueberries we use a lot.
I have never been blueberry picking but would love it!!! I have been making blueberry banana smoothies a lot lately
Oh, Leslie! I am so, so sorry about your Grandmother, but am so glad that you and the girls had the chance to do something so special with her! The shots of the girls are just priceless - their personalities just shine in them!
:( I'm thinking of you and your grandma. She's beautiful.
We went berry picking this year and both kids were SO cute. I don't think they could believe that that's where berries come from!
Great pictures! Love me some blueberries.
