Top Ten Tuesday-the cleaning house version

10.)I am in a major cleaning streak. Everything that we do not "need" or do not "use" is either getting taken to St. Vincent or resale. I am purging. I just looked in our coat closet tonight and about had a meltdown. I told Jade I was going to get rid of a few of his coats from circa nineteen old and he freaked. He did not even know which ones. I told him if he didn't know which ones I was tossing, he would not even miss them.

9.)Thank goodness Jade goes with me to well baby check up appointments. Ruby was a beast at her check up today. Okay, I am exxagerating a little, but she did kick me when I was trying to straightened her out and hold her when she was being measured.  ((Birthday post, stats and Ruby stuff to come. I am on my laptop and do not have b-day pics on her and am too lazy to hop onto my other computer tonight)).

8.)We spent some time with my Grandma today. We had homemade soup + grilled cheese sandwiches. She makes such yummy food!!!! Dad joined us, too.

7.)We did a little school shopping today. Reyna picked out a couple cute shits + leggings. I let her pick stuff out because we all know how Miss Reyna can be with her style, right?? I snagged Ruby a few things, too.

6.)I admit, I have LOVED having extra cake around the house this week. :) Let me put it this way, we won't be throwing any out.

5.)Reyna starts school in two weeks. I am so excited for her. Do you know what is going to be the hardest part??? Getting up. Yep, I said it. School starts @ 8. Uhm, I am usually getting out of bed around the 8:00 hour. This is going to be a big change. I will probably be "that mom" in my pj's in the drop off line the first week or so, but let's hope not!!!

4.)I am definitely looking forward to going camping for Labor Day. I am glad we decided to stay somewhat local instead of Ludington like we usually do. It will be nice not having to trek home from so far away.

3.)It's cool enough that I finally turned my air off, there is a breeze coming thru my windows and it's storming outside. It is perfect sleeping weather.

2.)Uhm, I have four heads of lettuce in the fridge. We eat quite a few salads, but good Lord. I must be losing it. I didn't post a menu this week, but I am going to make a blt pizza on Thursday so that should elliminate a little of my over abundance of lettuce.

1.)I have been trying to use the word "no" more often. With the girls, that is. Yes, they are spoiled, but I wouldn't say spoiled rotten, you know? I think there is a difference. Lately, I feel like the older Reyna is getting, the more she is wanting/asking for stuff. Whenever Jade runs to the party store, he usually brings something back for the girls, we go to Target and get slushies + popcorn...etc... I want her to hear the word and be able to accept it. She has never not been okay with being turned down for something, but I do not want it getting to that point. Does that make sense? Plus, I think it is Miss Ruby we are going to have a harder time with when it comes to this situation.

4.)
