Happy Lady

I am so happy to type that preschool was a success today. The three of us took her and all went well. I was the first one up this morning. I woke Reyna a little after 7. She got dressed right away and then ate breakfast with Jade. I am bummed, but this is the only picture that I took. Oh, well. She was a little shy when we arrived @ her classroom. We stayed for a couple of minutes, gave her a few extra kisses and reminded her that I would be there before lunch.

We walked out the door and I honestly expected tears. She proved me wrong. It felt so strange loading Ruby in the Suburban, taking Ruby out to breakfast and going home with only one child. It was a quiet and productive morning.

When we picked her up, she was in a good mood and had lots to say about her new school. :))

((As we were leaving school, Jade picked up his cell and mocked what we heard the last time we dropped Reyna off. "Hello, Reyna would like to be picked up from Scuttles Cove." I chuckled as he did this in a nervous sort of way. Scuttles Cove was the chidlren's program from the Disney Cruise Line where you could drop your children off and go do whatever. We chose not to leave Reyna in there except the day we were on the island and had a couples massage booked. It was not 15 minutes after we dropped her off, that we received a text on the phone that the ship provided us with that Reyna was not happy and was ready for us to come get her. No, we did NOT miss our massage. Aunt Janette came to the rescue and went and picked her up. Thank God. I knew the school was not going to call us to come pick her up, but I was hoping she was not going to have another "Scuttles Cove" moment, which reminds me, I never finished telling you about the cruise!!! Stay tuned.))
