3 things Thursday

A long time friend and a fellow blogger often does 3 things Thursday. Here it goes:

  1. I feel like crap today. I don't know how else to put it. We took Ruby's bar off of her crib and changed her bed into a toddler bed yesterday. I don't think it helped that I switched the girls' room around, vaccum, cleaned, steamed cleaned and moved furniture. So not only was Ruby's bed in a different spot, she went to bed with no bar on her crib. I was not home when she went to sleep, but I guess it went really well. I woke up @ 2 a.m to the sound of our Dora kitchen. I went in there, put her back to bed, but a few minutes later, I heard the sound of her rattling around in the toy box. This went on for two hours, people. It didn't help that I felt like I was getting a migraine before bed last night. I put a bed rail on her bed today and she took a really good nap for me. I am thinking she might do better tonight with the rail on there. Please say a prayer!!!!
  2. I went out last night with a few girlfriends for wine, sushi and girl talk. We had such an awesome night. We laughed our butts off, drank some wine and had some really good food. It felt so good to get out of the house and talk about anything and everything.
  3. Jade's mom and dad just stopped by to pick Reyna up for the night. The best part? They dropped dinner off and picked my child up! BONUS! It is going to help me out a lot tomorrow with having one less child because Ruby & I will be busy packing for our weekend, birthday shopping for Reyna and making cupcakes for our almost birthday girl.

Reyna received and easy bake oven for Christmas and that was the first cookie she made with it. Also, Uncle Bobby bought her a horse shadow box/pain by number for Christmas and that was when she started working on it. :) The first two??? The girls just being silly.

I'm still working on the transition of Maggie to a regular bed. :)

I hope last night went better!!! Have you considered taking her toys out of her room until she learns to sleep through the night in the new bed? A friend of mine did that and within a week she was able to move the toys back in. Good luck either way!!! :)

P.S. We still need to get together sometime!
