Valentines Day

Last weekend was so busy for us. In fact, I can remember the last time we were that busy. We did get a lot done. Jade played tennis about a half hour from home while the girls & I shopped. We enjoyed lunch as a family and then shopped some more. Sunday, the girls & I were out of town for a baby shower. My cousin, Amy, is having identical twin baby girls! Don't get me wrong, we had a great weekend, but I just don't enjoy being that insanely busy. Sunday night, we were all exhausted, my house was a mess.....Monday, I had to make a quick run into the grocery store and Ruby threw the WORST tantrum I have ever witnessed out of either one of my children. It was awful. Awful.Awful. I think she just hit a wall. She came home and slept. I finally woke her up @ 5. I was afraid she wouldn't go to bed that night.

So, didn't I title this post "Valentines Day"? How does that tie in with all of my ranting??? :) It really doesn't, actually. :)

Reyna had a really good party at school today. I made the cupcakes for her class. I decided not to go to the party, mainly because I really didn't have anywhere to take Roobs. Plus, I really needed a day to just play catch up (see above ranting and raving:)). I have been to all of her parties and even helped in her class, so I didn't feel to awful about skipping out.



Jade & I never really celebrate Valentines Day. I do not need him to buy me a card for him to tell me how he feels. We used to when we were dating, but not now. It is one of those things where we will celebrate either before or after, but never on the actual day. We actually bought a new TV over the weekend, so I guess we already celebrated. :)
