1. I am pretty sure I spent most of the day in the kitchen. A couple days ago, I went to a friends house with another friend and we picked a ton of beans. I spent some time blanching and freezing them today, which took some time. After that, I shredded a ton of zucchini and froze it into 2 cup portions so we can enjoy this recipe all winter long. To top it off, I made homemade pizza dough and this pizza tonight for din din. What I love about making my own crust is that the recipe makes two. So, make two and throw one in the freezer. So easy and so cheap! While I slaved away, the girls painted, played play doh and dress up. They were really good today while I played Suzie homemaker. Oh, speaking of while they painted. Kramer was in the backroom and I noticed he was covered in red. I panicked because it looked like he was bleeding. Good news, he stepped on Ruby's picture and was covered in red paint. Reyna thought it was so fun to give him a bath. His feelings were not mutual. He was so mad.
2. I cannot believe Ruby is almost 3. Three. 3? Really? I went to the store yesterday, picked up a few party supplies to make her cupcakes and cake. I don't want to be stressing last minute.
3 .My dad said something the other day to me. He said, "Leslie, nothing surpsies me anymore."
My response to him was, "Really? What if I were to tell you I was moving to...say Indonesia?"
"Like I said, nothing surprises me anymore, Leslie."
Anyway, I am really trying to remember this. I am really trying to remember to accept people fully for who they are and love them fully flaws and all. I am trying to not get upset when they do something even though I should fully expect for said situations to occur. Instead, I should learn to just let it go and not be surprised that certain occurences are happening.
Also? Finding out major news about a "friend" on Facebook or another source of social media??? So.not.cool.....BUT once again, I should always, always take my dad's advice. :) He is one smart guy, ya know?!

Good way to feel about life. What matters is what is happening now, nothing else. You can't change what has happened & you never know what the future will be.
