Top 10 Tuesday

1.) My house is still a royal mess from the birthday par-tay on Sunday. There are piles everywhere, toys scattered and I just finished washing platters, crockpots and drink dispensers. My ocd cannot take the mess much longer.

2.) I signed Reyna up for gymnastics today. She is so excited, but is bummed they are not starting tomorrow. Her first day is actually her first day of school. She will be one tired chick.

3.) Speaking of school, she is ready. We bought a backpack & lunchbox. Last week, we did a major shopping spree. School shopping is no joke. I went in the morning thinking the stores wouldn't be crowded...what the heck was I thinking??? EVERYONE else was there, too. We bought her leggings, dresses, jeans, sweatshirts, cardigans, a down vest, shirts, riding boots, undies....she is SO ready. I wanted it done in one trip. It probably shaved minutes off of my life, but whatever. How do you do your school shopping? I know it isn't cool yet, but do you get it done in one trip or gradually get it taken care of? OR, do you shop all year long when stuff is on sale?

4.) I am going to redo my dining room as soon as R starts school. I already have colors picked out. I am going to get new window treatments, pictures...etc.....

5.) Sometimes (okay, all the time) I wonder what the heck I would do w/out Jade. I was looking for a picture of Roobs at birth the other night and found one. Jade took one look and started laughing. He was like, "Les, it's an adorable picture of REYNA." OMG. How did I not know the difference?? I can rely on him to remember teeny tiny deets...dates, times, anything.  So if I am looking at the girl's birth pictures, I look at Jade in the pictures and see if he was in Summer or Winter wardrobe. Winter=Reyna/ Summer=Ruby. I cannot believe I just admitted that. ALSO, the day of the party, he did so much. I just appreciate and love him so....:)

6.) We bought Roobs this book for her birthday. The girls both love it.

7.) I have the itch. The baby itch??? NO. I want to go to Disney! We skypped with Aunt Janette Monday and Disney just finished changes on Fantasyland.  The girls are at perfect ages right now aaaaannnndd...they are due for haircuts. :))))))))

8.) Is anyone else ready for fall foods? soups? chili? filling the house with smells of pumpkin & other yummy fall scents? As much as I love Summertime, I always love Fall. I just hate what follows.

9.) Jade is pouring a new garage floor this weekend. The girls will be excited to have a concrete truck here on Saturday. It's the little things that entertain them, I tell ya.

10.) Yes, this is being posted on Wednesday. I got sucked into old episodes of Sex & the City last night. I could sit in one spot all day and watch SATC and only get up for potty breaks and food.
