- Take a roll of paper towel (I used bounty) and cut it in half. After you cut it, you should have two chunky sides.
- This is where I altered it a little. Em's sister used a rubbermaid (No. 9) container, but I just used a big sturdy ziploc baggie. That way, I can store them right on the changing table.
- Mix 2 cups of cold water, 2 Tablespoons of baby oil and 2 Tablespoons of baby wash into the bag.
- After you mix it, take the paper towel and place it in the bag. Put the side that you cut face down into the mix.
- Zip the bag up and flip it over and let it soak into the paper towel.
- After it soaks in, you will be able to remove the brown paper roll out with ease.
- When ready to use the baby wipes, pull from the inside and you will have a nice coil of wipes.
And there you have it. Homemade baby wipes. I love them!!!

we have been using these at home since lucy was born and i LOVE THEM!!!! the hardest part is cutting the paper towel in half!
i love these too! i will either make them or use the target wipes. i had a round contanier i bought just to use for this purpose. putting them in a big ziplock sounds like a great idea! one 'batch' seems to last forever.
That is so cool! Both my kids have sensitive skin as well. Morgan once had a diaper rash that turned into a staph infection!! I'll have to try that for Callie - thankfully I only have 1 in diapers now!
Im glad you posted that les. Happy to help! :)
I am so going to try this! Thanks for this post, seriously, you are awesome!
Oh, and B's butt is the same. Crazy huh? She gets diaper rash in an instant, we really need to stay on top of her diapers!
