A few reasons why Reyna just melts my heart.
- After Reyna is done eating, she will always ask for more (or as Reyna says it, mo) even when she is full. Tonight at dinner, she finished her noodles, pork chop and squash. I knew she was full, but she still hands me her plate and said, "mo meat."
- I decided we would induldge in a little raspberry sherbet after dinner. Jade is hunting, so I thought it would be fun to have a special treat, just the two of us. Anyway....she loved it! I don't think I heard a word out of her while she was eating it. After it was all gone, she started clanking her spoon on her bowl just to get every last little drop. My grandpa Feister used to do this when he was eating his cereal in the mornings. I remember it being so loud. We always used to tease him saying he was going to break a bowl. While Reyna was clanking on her bowl, it reminded me of my grandpa and how I still have to remember sometimes that he isn't with us anymore.
- Last night we went to Jade's parents to help them celebrate 30 years. It was 9 when we left their house, which is late for Reyna. Even though she was tired, she still stayed awake during our 25 minute car ride home so she could "talk" with me. We chatted about the moon, the big water towers she loves to point out and the farm animals we weren't able to see b/c it was too dark.
- I have been asking her lately what she wants to eat for meals. I just like to hear her response. Tonight, I asked her what she wanted to eat for dinner. Her answer? "Kiwi." Where she came up with that, I am not sure.
- I couldn't find Reyna this morning. I could hear her, but couldn't see her. Oh, she had climbed thru our little cat door that goes to the back room where our cat can go in and out of to his litter and food. She was inside the room, pulling his tail. Our poor cat.
- When we leave to go somewhere, as we are pulling out of the driveway, Reyna has to say goodbye to our house. It always starts with, "bye house" and then she moves onto, "bye Nellie, bye Kramer, bye pumpkins."

How sweet. I love random things about the kids, they are things that you may forget if you don't write them down, yet they are the things you want to remember the most. Ok, totally exhausted here and I didn't make much sense, but oh well. Have a good night and enjoy that little sweetie!
it is those little things that make them so stinkin' special.
What an adorable post!!!!!!! Melts my heart....
She is just so darn cute!!! How was dinner with the Collins family?
I love this post! She will look back on it when she is older and love it. I think it is amazing that our children will have these blogs to look back on.
What a little sweetheart! Kiwi for dinner! LOL
How cute! I wish some of her good eating habits would rub of on Gavin. LOL!
Sounds like motherhood is treating you good, and Reyna is enjoying it too. I recommend trying Fruit Chillers, they are in the grocery store with canned fruit made by Del Monte. Pop them in the freezer and they are great.
