Jade & I were up until this morning (around 2ish for me, 3ish for him) painting our back room. We have all the trim painted twice, now the walls just need to be rolled. We didn't have enough paint to complete our project nor enough hours in our day. I was hoping that it would all be complete last night b/c the house needs to be cleaned. That is where the word stressed comes in to play.
Jade is staying @ his parents tonight because of opening day tomorrow. I was hoping to have a quiet (what the heck was I thinking???) evening, cleaning and preparing food for Kristin's bachelorette party tomorrow night. It doesn't look that way. We have to roll the walls and let them dry before we can put stuff back into the room which brings me to the cleaning part. I have crap everywhere else in my house. There isn't a chance I can clean until the back room is done. I have a dresser blocking my oven in my kitchen therefore, no desserts will be getting baked for tomorrow night until the back room is done. I just talked to my mom and of course she is my lifesaver. She has offered to do the desssert. God bless her! So, why am I so worried about cleaning tonight? Thanks for asking.
We have our open house on Sunday!!! From 3-4:30, people will be touring our house. Oh, crap. I have a bachelorette party tomorrow in Novi and Jade won't be home all weekend. I am working tomorrow @ 12 before I drive to Novi, so everything (cleaning, cooking, packing, laundry etc....) needs to be completed tonight! Can you tell I am a tad bit stressed.
Oh, then there's the fact that I have zip, zero, zilch to wear to this event tomorrow. Please do not think I am complainig about the actual party. I cannot wait! So, I need to hunt for something this afternoon in the midst of working, taking Reyna to Hosmerville, picking up my bridemaid dress that is done with alterations and grocery shopping for a few essentials. Ugh. I am tired just thinking about everything. Not to mention, I am running on lack of sleep.
So, the painters, the housecleaner and the personal shopper can show up anytime now. I am waiting. :)
Happy Friday!

I'd be stressed too! Hopefully everything will fall into place and you'll be able to enjoy the bachelorette party tomorrow!
My #1 tip for open houses: people will look in the closets and all the places you normally stuff things you don't want people to see . . . shove it all under the bed!
Good luck getting everything done and have a wonderful weekend - I am sure you girls will do it up right!
Good luck les. Try not to stress too much, you don't want to get yourself sick.
Hey I was wondering, are we still gonna go shopping on sunday?
I would be stressed out too! Take a deep breath and do one thing at a time, And everything will fall into place...remember to breath and smile and most importantly have FUN!!
Hey...I am sorry to hear that you are stressed. I am sure that everything will work out great. I am excited to see you tomorrow!
