Easter weekend

We went to an Easter egg hunt the Saturday before Easter which was a ton of fun. I work with a lady who does this every year. She has a huge Easter egg hunt, a moon walk and the Easter bunny makes an appearance.. She makes mac and cheese, grills hot dogs and sloppy joes and everyone brings a passing dish. The day was gorgeous. Reyna had a blast. She wanted nothing to do with sitting on the bunnies lap, but we at least stood by the bunny and took a pic for memories sake.

Reyna was so excited Easter morning about her basket. As you can see, she wanted to make sure she "shared" her jelly beans with Kramer. ((He never eats what she sets in front of him, but it's just the cutest that she likes to share with him.)) Yesterday, I found an apple slice in front of him on my bed. She's too funny.

We hid eggs for Reyna and she had a good time finding those. After Saturday, she was starting to get the hang of looking for eggs. I made doughballs for breakfast and set out fresh cantaloupe, blackberries and strawberries with a yummy cup of coffee. We just relaxed most of the morning. Reyna napped while we cleaned up the house and got ready to go to my parents.
As you can see, my brother was being a dork about taking a picture. Reyna wanted daddy to read her new books from Nana & Papa to her. I think this was during the time I was completing my cheesy potatoes and skyping with our family in Florida. Have I mentioned Skype is so fun?! When we invest in a new computer, it will have a built in webcam.

Reyna had a great time with "Uncle Dayyyvid." He helped her blow bubbles with her new Dora spillproof bubble bucket and she just thought he was the coolest.

Reyna was soo tired before dinner. All she wanted to do was read her new books with daddy and lay around with blankey and suckey. Oh and watch the Masters, too. :)

My parents put together an Easter basket for Reyna with four new books, new playdoh, a pez dispenser, a Beatrix Potter chocolate bunny and some new clothes. Uncle Bobby & Aunt Em put one together with a new book, a soft bunny and some other Easter goodies. Once again, she was definitely spoiled. Well, I should say loved.
We went to Jade's parents house for a little while after dessert. Originally, they weren't going to be around, so we had already made plans with my family. But, we did stop over there, but I didn't take any pic's. Reyna was exhausted by this point and was starting to get cranky.

Looks like the Easter Bunny was good to Reyna Bug. I always like to see what you get her toys and books wise becasue Grace is just 6 months behind and it gives me good ideas.
