:) Back to normal. Then again, what the heck is normal anymore?!

The other day when I posted about not having a battery charger for my camera, Nicole was kind enough to offer her extra camera until my new battery charger came. So, I picked up what I thought was going to be a little point and shoot and she brings out this big ol' camera case loaded up with a beast of a camera. So, professional picture taker, I am definitely not, but I love taking pic's with this camera. I can definitely tell the difference in quality. It takes pic's so fast and I have been capturing the cutest pic's of the girls. BTW....Nic, is this thing for sale?!?! hahaah. :)

I finally feel like things are getting back to normal. I love that feeling. Most of you who know me via in person or thru my blog, know that I do not do well with change. I like things the way they are. I need warning when things are about to happen or fall our of whack. Jade will try and change up plans on me sometimes and I just can't deal with it. It might be the dumbest thing as in making an extra stop on the way home. I need to learn how to bend a little, I guess. Whatever. So, with everything that has happened, I am glad to have things put in place, you know? I love the fact I can smell downy in my laundry because that means I have a washer that works. I love freshly clean floors in my kitchen, which means there are no more delivery men, repair men, service men and whomever else tromping thru my house in their boots. The only thing I have yet to do is unpack my printer. It is sitting next to me in a box. I look at it quite often, but I am not quite ready yet to read one more stinkin' manual. Jade is still bugging me about changing the ringer on the new phone, but that would mean actually looking at the manual again. It will get done.

So, we have had a really good weekend. Jade got the rest of the tree cleaned up. All we have left is the stump, which is going to be taken care of soon. Yesterday I worked, which was a ton of fun and I managed to only pick up a few items this time. All of which were for Ruby. I found her a pink pair of Crocs that are size 4, Carter's sandals and 4 shirts and a pair of denim shorts. Let's not forget the new toy that I just couldn't pass up, too. Opps. We went to dinner @ the McKenney's house Saturday night. They treated us to a delicious chicken pesto pizza and my fave, blue bunny bomb pops. :) The girls had a blast and after dinner, we walked to the park. Today, Reyna informed that she is getting married. When I asked her who, she replied, " to you mama." She is such a nut. My mom & I went shopping today after we dropped Jade off to meet a friend from Okemos for tennis. The girls were really good at the store, which made our afternoon wonderful. Nana bought Reyna a new nightgown, since that is all she will wear these days and Ruby got two pairs of capri's. To top my afternoon off, my mom took Reyna for the rest of the day. I just got home from meeting them halfway. Jade is giving her a bath and even though I should be folding the mounds of laundry on the couch, posting pic's just seemed way more important, don't you think?

As for Ruby, well she started clapping and waving just in the past couple of days. It is the sweetest thing. And, Jade has been trying to get her to say, "dada." So, when he says, "Ruby, say dada," she replies with, "mama." She is too sweet. Also, I picked up a new toy for her yesterday. She is loving it. I needed something else for her to play with since she pretty much refuses to sit in anything stationary any more. Ruby, you can slow down now. Mama doesn't want you growing this fast.
And, I couldn't end this post without a little love from the pug. :) Ain't she purdy?

Cute pictures and glad things are back to normal. What a nightmare. I'm the same way with change...I could totally do without it :)

If the toy splurge was that house, you will not be sorry. Both of my kids still love and play with it...one of the only toys that's lasted in our house!
