Birthday cook out

We had my family and Jade's family over for a cookout today. I wanted to do something at home instead of hauling everyone to a restaurant. I would rather save taht for a date night. Let me start off by saying, it was the perfect day. We relaxed this morning, went to the store after Ruby's nap and then everyone came over for some grub, presents and cupcakes. My Aunt Gail and my cousin, Louie, are in town so it was definitely a bonus having them here. Plus, my Uncle Dave came in town from the Detroit area. I didn't get pic's of everyone (sorry gran) but I did take a few to share. :) I just love the one of Ruby and Bobo sitting in the yard, watching Reyna play frisbee with Grandma. The last picture is a crack up, also. Reyna was exhausted and I wanted a cute pic of her, Louie and Bobby. This is what I got from her. My mom made yummy cupcakes, that I may or may not have had three of. Opps. It's now what I am calling a cupcake top, not a muffin top. I was very spoiled by everyone. My parents bought me a beautiful Vera Bradley make-up bag, Jade's parents gave me money, Bobby and Em bought me K-cups, an itunes gift card and a gorgeous frame that I already have a home for. Uncle Dave & Lins & Nathan gave me Target gift cards, Jade's aunt gave me money and my Aunt and cousin gave me a willow tree candle holder, which has already been placed in a special spot. Oh, cute story. So, Reyna was outside today looking at my bike. Jade was outside with her and she looked at him and said, "Daddy, mama's bicycle doesn't have a bell. It needs a bell."

Can you guess what Reyna picked out for me for my birthday? I am the new proud owner of a shiny new bell on my bike. :)

I guess I should say this day would have been perfect, but my Grandma Feister wasn't able to make it. I am saying a prayer right now that we will be informed with some positive news this week. I am not going to go into details, but prayers are definitely appreciated.
