Naptime woes.

 Ruby is on a pretty big mama kick right now. If Jade is holding her, she calls out for me and repeatidly says, "mama" over and over. Of course, I think it's adorable, but I think it hurts Jades feelings sometimes. Reyna did the same thing when she was around Ruby's age and once again, I was telling Jade that he just needed to shrug it off when it would start to get to him. Nowadays, wherever Jade it's a pretty safe bet Reyna is closeby. She loves her daddy. She loves being outdoors with him, helping him build stuff or whatever. Where there is Jade, there is Reyna. But, Reyna will go back and forth who she favors. For instance, if I discipline her, she prefers daddy or visa-versa. Reyna was getting very tired and very ready for nap. She was sassing me, whining and it was me, not Jade who said it was naptime. Of course, she wanted Jade to lay with her since I was considered the bad guy in the current situation. I just wanted to lay with my baby and snuggle her. The moment I laid down with her, she starting whining for daddy. She didn't want me, she wanted daddy.

I was getting kind of mad. My feelings were getting hurt. Was it dumb? Yes. Was I just tired and wanted to snuggle my baby while taking a short snooze? Probably.

Miss Reyna, I know you don't remember, but I carried you for nine months. During that time, I lost my figure, gained 40 plus pounds, threw up for four of those months. I delivered you, nursed you, lost countless hours of sleep. Dangit, next time I want to snuggle you before nap, will ya just let me? Oh, and one more thing, you can stop growing up anytime now.
