Two recipes to share.

You can find the recipe for Asian bbq lettuce wraps here.  If you haven't tried them, I recommend adding the ingredients to your shopping list. They are easy to make and overall, a pretty healthy choice. I omit them pine nuts because they are awful expensive ((9.00 each time you make them.Yikes!)) and no nuts for Ruby until she is 2. I also add tiny bits of chopped carrot in mine to add an extra serving of veggies. Plus, they give the wraps a little more color. And, when the girls eat them, I will give them a warm tortilla to eat theirs with instead of lettuce.

Also, the recipe for my sausage thing...:)

Take the outer part off of italian sausage and cook it in a skillet. Crumble it while it's cooking like you would with burger. Cook it with about 1/4 cup of chopped onion. Does that make sense???

After it's cooked, add a little garlic, oregano & basil to taste.
Add a can of rotel tomatoes and a can of northern or pinto beans, whichever you prefer.

Serve over hot noodles or white rice.
It is really good.
