2.) Reyna was really excited to put these together tonight. I told her she could have them with breakfast. I mean, they are healthy....why not, right? Several weeks ago, I started making what we like to call, "Mimi's bread". Jade's grandma has always made this divine bread. I finally asked her if she shared the recipe. Lucky for us, she does!!! It requires a starter, which I went and picked up from her. You let the starter set out (today actually) all day after adding 3 ingredients to it. That evening, you take part of your starter and finish making the rest of your dough, let it rest over night and the following day, your dough ends up rising and you bake that night. Well, it produces three loaves of fresh sourdough bread each week! I have not purchased a loaf of bread in a while. Plus, it's soooooo good. And, I know exactly what is going into it. And, tomorrow when I bake, I am only going to bake two loaves and use 1/3 of the dough to make homemade cinnamon rolls.
3.We just signed up for our parent meeting for Kindergarten round-up. Of course this is definitely bittersweet. I am so excited that Reyna is growing and learning, but our baby is growing. When I told her that she would be going to school all day everyday this fall, I don't think she really understood what I was saying. She will do great though. And even though Ruby will only be 3 and Reyna was 4 when we started preschool, Roobs will start preschool this fall. So, both our babies will be in school It definitely goes by fast.
**I have pictures, videos and stories to share!!!!** Check bac!!!
