Exhausted.

Okay, parenting was down right exhauting today. I don't think that it started shaving minutes off of my life until around 3:30. Why does stuff always hit the fan when I am about to cook???? My mom was here today and I should have started din din while she was here.

Well, in Ruby's defense we are wearing her from her baba. All of this week, we are only giving her one before nap & bed. Next week, she will only get one before bed and the following week, nada. She was a tad whinier today. I have tried giving her cups of milk and she throws them. Yes, sweet Miss Ruby throws her cup.

I am exhausted and I want to finish the laundry, watch my dvr'd shows, read my book, blog about Christmas & start working out. Not only do I need to figure out how to get Roobs to drink moo juice out of a sippy, but I also need to find a way to aquire more hours in my day.

I had a long day also. While we were waiting in the long line at meijers (there were only 2 checkouts open)Lincoln opened the blueberries and they went everywhere. Everyone just looked at me. Noone helped me pick them up. And there was no staff around.
Hopefully the Ruby will do better this week.

Last week, I cut Iris off from her bottles COLD TURKEY...eeek. I guess I was feeling brave. She still isn't drinking milk from a cup all that well, but I just keep offering it to her. She has to learn somehow. Good luck!!

Oh the wonders of motherhood, taking all of the bad with the good. Even though it is not easy doing the hard things, that is what you will remember and laugh about later in life. You and Jade are such good parents and I am so proud of you. Lov, Granna

Luke still drinks from a Nubby... which is totally a botttle in "cup" disguise. I NEED to take him off it... and he still gets one at night before bed. Warmed up. Sometimes with chocolate. ;-) I am weak when it comes to that one... was so much stronger with Ally.........

I have to laugh because 3:30 is generally when the day starts to go downhill around here as well! A little snack and a little television seems to help take the edge off, but on most days it does its part to derail my dinner prep as well.

I am so proud of you for following through with the bottles for Ruby! I have failed miserably with taking the pacifier away from B.riar (probably because she woke up the other night looking for it and tried to stick my nose in her mouth instead.)

oh my... I can't think about taking the baba away from Henry! It will be a very long, long, few weeks whenever I decide to do that (which needs to be soon...:)

Can't wait to see you guys next week!
