On July 1st, Jade's grandpa went to be with the Lord. He was a really good man and I blessed that I was able to get to know him over the years. He was diagnosed with Pulmonary fibrosis several months ago and it didn't take long for his health to decline. His last few weeks of life, he was relying on an oxygen tank 24/7. The night of the viewing, I asked Jade if he was okay as we were walking up to view his grandpa. He was thankful there was no more coughing and no more suffering. Yes, he was at peace. Thank you, Maria, for taking this picture. At the time of the picture, it didn't dawn on us that it would have been the last time we would have had our picture taken together or more important, the last time we would have goodbye. xoxo.
